Bridgeport, Pa. --- Four members of the San José State University men's water polo team were selected to the 2017 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic team.
This is the first time Marc Weber, Ashley Castle, Conrad Gordon, and Giacomo Lovatelli have achieved this honor.
"Were excited because it shows our level of student and athlete is improving," said head coach Bruce Watson. "This team is making strides not only in the pool, but in the classroom. I am very proud of them, and what they are accomplishing in school."
Marc Weber and Ashley Castle were both selected to outstanding team. They earned a grade point average between 4.0-3.71.
Goalie Conrad Gordon was selected to superior team for earning a GPA between 3.70-3.41.
Giacomo Lovatelli was selected to excellent team for getting a GPA between 3.40-3.20.
