Five Spartans Named Academic All-MPSF In Women's Water Polo

Woodland, Calif.----- San Jose State University seniors Jennifer Liu, Klaudia Paradi, Tayler Peters and Katelynn Thompson and junior Michelle Taikeff were named to the 2018 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) women's water polo all-academic team.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least sophomore standing academically, complete one full year at the sponsoring institution, have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale, and participate in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

Paradi, Peters and Thompson are three-time All-MPSF academic award winners. Taikeff earned her second All-MPSF academic award while Liu received her first award.

Forty-three (43) student-athletes from the six conference schools were honored.
