Los Angeles, Calif.----- In their first platform diving competition of the season, San Jose State University's Natasha Sondeno placed 21st, and Eri Tamada, 42nd, at the Bruin Invitational Diving Meet hosted by UCLA.
Sondeno posted a five-dive total of 184.95. Her score was fifth best among the 13 Mountain West divers in the event.
Tamada's total was 146.60 in the 44-person field of Pac-12, Big Sky, Big West, and Mountain West divers.
The Spartans wrap up the three-day event with Sondeno, Tamada and Megan Au competing in the 1-meter dive. First dive is at scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Live results will be available at divemeets.com.
