San Jose, Calif.—Senior Kiley Lingenfelter finished her Spartan career on high note, winning her match, and the San José State beach volleyball team won 4-1 over San Francisco Tuesday afternoon at Spartan Beach.
Lingenfelter paired with Calli Novak to win at #5, 21-18, 21-18, to finish her Spartan career with nine victories. Lingenfelter is a San José State Dean's List honoree and Arthur Ashe Jr., Sports Scholar.
The four Spartan pairs that won swept their opponents. Siena Brewster and Letizia Cammillucci won 21-5, 21-14. Allyson Alden and Mia Schafer finished the season with a 5-3 record after winning 21-12, 21-13. Cheyenne Rice and Allison Pereira won 21-18, 21-18.
The Spartans finish the 2021 season with a 4-7 record.
