DAVIS, Calif. - Sinia Plotz dominated in the Spartans 11-7 win against CBU (6-8) scoring three goals, while Olga Descalzi scored five goals in the second match to lead the Spartans (4-9) in their 16-1 win over CSU Monterey Bay (2-8)
Match 1 vs CBU
- Olga Descalzi also scored three goals against CBU.
- Lior Ben David, Belene Rodriguez, Clarissa Wandinger, and Kylee Jansen each added one goal.
- Rodriguez and Wandinger each drew two exclusions giving the Spartans four power play opportunities.
Match 2 vs CSU Monetary Bay
- Descalzi scored the first three goals of the match.
- Rodriguez and Genevieve Larkin each scored three goals for the Spartans, while Ryann Lucchesi and Ivanna Anderson-Villela added two goals each.
- Goalkeeper Hannah Henry had a 100% save percentage in the three quarters she played.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will compete at the Santa Clara Invitational on Feb. 18-19, at the Sullivan Aquatic Center.
