San José State returns to the Provident Credit Union Event Center for the final two home games of the season. The Spartans host Boise State Saturday in the next-to-last home game beginning at 4 p.m. The game is part of a doubleheader with the Spartan women's team as they host Fresno State at 1 p.m. Boise State enters the game with a 22-6 overall record and 12-3 Mountain West mark, and are second in the conference standings, one game behind San Diego State.

San José State enters the game with a 16-12 overall record and 7-8 MW mark after falling at Nevada, 66-51, Tuesday.  SJSU is tied for fifth in the MW standings with the Lobos, but UNM holds the tiebreaker after winning both meetings this season.

ABOUT BOISE STATE:  The Broncos enter Saturday's game with a 22-6 overall record and 12-3 MW mark, good for second in the conference standings. The team has a four-game winning streak including an 82-77 home win over New Mexico Wednesday evening. Head coach Leon Rice is in his 13th season at the helm of the program.
Series Record - 3-38, Boise State has won 11 straight.
The two schools first faced each other for the first time on December 17, 1988, in San Jose. All three Spartan wins have come at the Provident Credit Union Event Center - Feb. 2, 2002 (62-51); Jan, 14, 2010 (76-74) & March 5, 2016 (68-63).

Brandon Clarke came off the bench and led the Spartans with 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win. Gary Williams, Jr., and Princeton Onwas each scored 14 points in the win.

 Omari Moore scored 18 of his 22 points but the Spartan comeback fell short in the loss. Moore grabbed a team-best seven rebound and dished out six assists
The game was tied 64-64 before Boise State's Marcus Shaver Jr., hit a deep three with two seconds remaining to give the Broncos the win. SJSU trailed by as many as 14 early in the second half at 52-38, before the team used an 8-0 run to cut the lead to 52-46. The Spartans took their first lead of the game at 62-61 on a Moore three-pointer and led 64-63 on a Robert Vaihola layup on an Alvaro assist.

After the win at Santa Clara, the Spartans jumped up from 191 to 132, with the win over the Broncos.
