No. 20 Spartans Fall to No. 4 UCLA at Home

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Maiken Pardon scored two goals and tallied two assists to lead No. 20 San Jose State (12-12) in their 17-7 loss to No. 4 UCLA (13-4). 

  • Kylee Jansen and Kielle Leggo also scored two goals each, while Sinia Plotz added one goal to the match. 
  • Clarissa Wandinger and Plotz each contributed one assist.
  • Lior Ben David won the sprint in the first period to give the Spartans starting possession. 
  • Wandinger, Pardon, and Jansen drew two exclusions each to give SJSU six power play opportunities. 
  • Goalkeeper Hannah Henry was on fire, recording nine saves and two steals.
