SAN JOSE, Calif. - Goalkeeper Hannah Henry recorded 11 saves and one assist to lead the No. 20 San Jose State women's water polo team (12-13) Sunday in their 7-6 loss to No. 7 Fresno State (13-7).
- Kylee Jansen scored a backhand shot in the second quarter to put the Spartans in the lead at half, 4-3.
- Lior Ben David scored at the buzzer with an assist from Henry to help SJSU get within one goal of Fresno State.
- Sinia Plotz, Lucy Miszewski, Lauren Woolley, and Bailey Stubblefield also scored in the match.
- Kielle Leggo, Catie Kelly, and Plotz each contributed a field block to prevent Fresno State from scoring.
