Spartans Fall Short to No.17 Indiana

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Lior Ben David scored two goals and added two assists to lead the No. 20 San Jose State women's water polo team (12-16) Saturday in their 7-6 loss to No. 17 Indiana (16-12).

  • Lauren Woolley scored a backhand goal to tie the game 4-4 in the second quarter. 
  • Lucy Miszewski and Sinia Plotz also scored a goal in the match. 
  • Hannah Henry and Plotz each contributed one assist. 
  • Maiken Pardon, Genevieve Larkin, and Plotz recorded one field block each to prevent Indiana from scoring. 
  • Bailey Stubblefield, Elaina Davey, Kylee Jansen, Clarissa Wandinger, Henry, and Ben David were all honored at the meet for senior day. 

UP NEXT: SJSU heads to Palo Alto, Calif. to battle Stanford on April 16th at 12:00 p.m.
