SAN JOSE, Calif. - Goalkeeper Hannah Henry recorded sixteen saves and three steal to lead the No. 20 San Jose State women's water polo team (12-15) Saturday in their 9-4 loss to No. 5 California (17-6).
- Spartan Lior Ben David scored on a powerplay drawn by Clarissa Wandinger to tie California at the end of the 1st quarter, 2-2.
- Maiken Pardon, Lauren Woolley, and Wandinger also scored a goal.
- Sinia Plotz and Ben David each tallied one assist.
- Ben David won the sprint in the first quarter to give the Spartans starting possession.
- Ben David recorded a field block to prevent California from scoring.
- Wandinger tallied six drawn exclusions to give SJSU multiple power play opportunities.
