San José State Increases Partnership with NBC Sports Bay Area

SAN JOSE, Calif. – San José State and NBC Sports Bay Area will partner for a third consecutive year, increasing the amount of broadcasts to a record 15 in 2023-24, adding men's and women's soccer with football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, baseball, women's gymnastics and softball. The Spartans will televise their first-ever men's soccer game on Monday, Sept. 4 against No. 4 Stanford at 7:00 p.m. on the Spartan Soccer Complex.

A finalist for the Sports Video Group (SVG) College Media Awards over the last two years for Most Outstanding Broadcast, SJSU and NBC Sports Bay Area will team up to televise the Cal Poly football game on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 1:00 p.m. inside CEFCU stadium. SJSU radio analyst and former star quarterback David Fales joins Neal Ruhl in the booth as KRON4's Kate Rooney will be on the sidelines for the Spartans fourth game in the last three seasons on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Accompanying the 15 games this season on NBC Sports Bay Area and California will be six episodes of SJSU's All-Access show The Charge, and SJSU will televise the annual Sammy Awards at the California Theater in downtown San Jose.
