SAN JOSE, Calif. - The 2023-2024 San José State men's water polo team added ten new players to their 2023 signing class.

Giancarlo Marquez | Fr. | UTL | Port Moody, Canada | Burnaby North Secondary School
"Giancarlo is one of the best Canadian players of his age, he was a leader on his junior team and we are extremely lucky to have him. - Played on both junior and youth Canadian national teams in 2023 at the Pan-Am's and World Championships where he was the leading goal scorer at both competitions.
- Tallied 117 goals in 20 games to be named the top goal scorer of the NCL for the 2021 - 2022 season.
- Winner of the 2022 John Stockdale Award following his club season.
- Named MVP for his high school in 2019, 2020, and 2022.
- Captain of his water polo team for 8 years where he was coached by Nikola Maric.

Mateja Bosić | R-Fr | DR | Zrenjanin, Serbia | Westcliff University
"We are very fortunate to have Mateja because he had an outstanding freshman year at Westcliff University. He scored over 120 goals as a freshman and he is a very natural scorer which shows.
