BOISE, Idaho – Jordan Pollard and Bryun Parham combined for three takeaways in the first half as San José State (1-5, 0-2 MW) fell 35-27 at Boise State (3-3, 2-0 MW) on Saturday night.

  • The Spartans had two takeaways in the first quarter, first a fumble and recovery by Parham, followed by an interception from Pollard.
  • The forced fumble was the third of Parham's career, and the recovery was his first.
  • Pollard forced the second fumble of the game in the second quarter, and it was recovered by Parham for his second recovery.
  • The interception by Pollard was the second of his career.
  • Chevan Cordeiro threw for 325 yards on 23-for-38 passing. He also had 29 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown, his third of the season.
  • After the fumble, Kairee Robinson scored his seventh touchdown of the season and 20th of his career with an 11-yard rush.
  • Robinson finished with 61 yards on the ground and also had 73 yards receiving, including a 63-yard reception, the longest play from scrimmage this season.
  • Cordeiro answered Pollard's interception with an 11-yard touchdown run of his own to put the Spartans up 14-0.
  • This was the first time this season that Boise State allowed more than 10 points in the first half.
  • Quali Conley scored the third touchdown off a turnover for the Spartans late in the first half to extend the lead to 27-7.
  • Kyler Halvorsen's 33-yard field goal in the second quarter put the Spartans up 17-0, their largest lead of the season over an FBS opponent.
