SAN JOSE, Calif. - Bence Szabo scored four goals to lead the No. 14 San José State men's water polo team in their 16-13 win over No. 16 CBU.
- The Spartans finished third in the West Coast Conference.
- Maro Tiozzo, Connor Macmillan, Mark Kis, Laszlo Szieben, Nikki Matheisen, Garrett Duardo, Peter Kolos Kahari, Giancarlo Marquez, and Mateja Bosic also scored.
- Goalkeeper Brendon Gyapjas recorded 12 saves in the first three-quarters of the match.
- Erik Duesund won the sprint in the first quarter to give the Spartans starting possession of the ball.
- Szabo scored the first goal of the match.
