SAN MARTIN, Calif.—Kajsa Arwefjäll won her match 3&1 for San José State’s only point in the Battle of the Bay Thursday afternoon with top-ranked Stanford at the CordeValle Golf Club.
- Stanford won the match 5-1.
- Arwefjäll went 2up on the 10th hole over Caroline Sturdza and maintained her lead for the final seven holes.
- Spartan Louisa Carlbom needed all 18 holes as she battled with Paula Martin Sampedro who is ranked 24th on the WAGR.
