Spartans Fall At Home Against Wyoming

SAN JOSE, Calif. –  Sabrina Ma finished with 17 points in the contest, going a perfect 5-for-5 from behind the arc, to lead San José State (6-22, 1-15 MW) as they fell 88-73 to Wyoming (15-12, 10-6 MW) on Wednesday night.

  • Ma's 17 points were a team high.
  • Sydni Summers also had double digits with 15 points in her first game back after two games away.
  • She went 3-for-4 from behind the arc
  • Nailea Nicholas also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 11 points.
  • The Spartans as a team went 12-for-21 from behind the arc, 57.1 percent.
  • The Spartans were strong on the offensive end, shooting 45.9 percent from the floor.
  • SJSU closed the game out strong, outscoring the Cowgirls 29-13 in the fourth quarter.

UP NEXT: The Spartans will play their final home game of the season on Saturday when they take on Colorado State. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. They will honor their four seniors, Sophia Jones, Alani Fluker, Mia Grizelj, and Semaj Smith before the tip.
