STOCKTON, Calif.—Jaida Ward and Jada Hall were one of three Spartan pairs to go 2-0 on the day as the San José State beach volleyball team won 4-1 and 5-0 at Pacific Wednesday afternoon at the Raney Sand Volleyball Courts.
- Ward and Hall needed three sets to win their first match, winning set three 15-10.
- Teila Allen and Cheyenne Rice won in straight sets in both matches played.
- Siena Brewster and Meredith Scott also won both matches in straight sets.
- Alexandra Dale and Jaena Bell played together for the first time this season in the second dual. They needed three sets to win, 21-10, 18-21, 15-8.
UP NEXT – The Spartans host the Inaugural Sand José Invitational this Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17 at Spartan Beach. Admission is free, and parking is available in the South Campus Garage located on the corner of 10th and Alma Streets. Fans should pay the $5 permit fee before exiting for Spartan Beach.
