Gauvain & Klocker Named to MW 25th Season Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—San José State former women’s tennis players Sybille Gauvain and Marie Klocker have been selected to the Mountain West 25th Season Women’s Tennis Team.

The conference is celebrating its 25th season of excellence on and off the court and recognizing a 25th Season team during each MW Championship.

Sybille Gauvain, 2015-18

Four-time All-Mountain West honoree in doubles

Three-time All-Mountain West in singles

Finished with 132 singles and doubles wins.

Won 70 singles matches and 62 doubles matches

10th player in school history to reach 100 career wins in singles and doubles

Primarily played #1 singles and #1 doubles

Helped the Spartans win the 2017 MW Championship

Finished ranked No. 64 nationally in doubles with Marie Klocker in 2017

Four-time Academic All-MW honoree

Two-time MW Scholar Athlete
