SAN JOSE, Calif. - Darcy Spark scored four goals to lead the No. 17 San José State women's water polo team (9-11, 0-4 MPSF) in their 14-8 loss to No. 3 USC (16-4, 3-0 MPSF).
- Sinia Plotz scored three goals to record her eighth hat trick of the season.
- Goalkeeper Zsofia Hadju recorded seven saves and a steal.
- Lucy Miszewski also scored during the match.
- Jennine Osorio and Ivanna Anderson-Villela led the team in assists with two each.
- Maiken Pardon and Ryann Lucchesi tallied three drawn exclusions each to give the Spartans multiple power play opportunities.
- The Spartans outscored the Trojans in the second quarter 3-2.
