SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Angel Iniguez tallied three shots, two of which were on goal to lead the San José State men's soccer team in a 1-0 loss against Cal Poly on Thursday night at Mustang Memorial Field.
- Iniguez recorded three shots in the game, two being on goal. His one shot not on goal was off the post.
- Gilberto Rivera, Cameron Cook, Jordi Tortell Daly and Daniel Fregoso Bautista each tallied a shot in the game.
- Edgar Guerra saved two shots in the game. Guerra now has 11 saves on the season.
- Iniguez, Rivera, Guerra, Niklas Dossmann and Ruben Flores-Thomas played all 90 minutes in the game.
- Iniguez, Dossmann and Guerra remain the only Spartans’ to play every minute this season.
UP NEXT: The Spartans return home to take on UC San Diego on Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Spartan Soccer Complex. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. PDT.
