SAN JOSE, Calif.—The San José State women’s water polo program was rewarded for their hard work in the classroom as 18 Spartans were named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic teams.
To receive the honor, players maintained a 3.20 or higher cumulative gpa. The team had five players honored as Outstanding (3.71-4.00 gpa), nine as superior (3.41-3.70 gpa) and four as excellent (3.20-3.40 gpa).
Catie Kelly earned her fourth recognition, while Mackenzy Clark, Rose Jensen, Jennine Osorio, and Darcy Spark all earned their third honor. Bridget Cranley, Jessica Ross, Emma Ruzic, Rachel Williams, Nynke Willemsen and Sarah Woren all have their second honor.
Seven Spartans earned the honor for the first time in her collegiate career – Larke Eslinger, Taylor Fisher, Sally Gonzalez Aguilar, Tasaria Kilpatrick, Megan Ledgerwood, Sydney Poore, and Tatianna Raffin.
