Fieme'a Hafoka joined the women's basketball staff as a student assistant coach in September of 2020 after spending the previous four seasons as a standout student-athlete at San Jose State.
Hafoka earned her Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development and is now a graduate student at SJSU. She spent three seasons as a team captain for the Spartans and ended her playing career having appeared in 121 games, just one contest short of the school record.
The Kihei, Hawaii product shined in the classroom as well, receiving Academic All-Mountain West honors in each of her four years on campus.
Hafoka helped lead San Jose State to the nation's largest single-season win turnaround as a senior, posting 19 victories for the program's highest win-total in 40 years. A prolific shooter, Hafoka is slotted at No. 5 in free throw percentage (.811) and at 13th in three-point field goal percentage (.322) on SJSU's career total lists.
