Last Week: San José State lost 44-41 to Hawaii in five overtimes.
This Week: The Spartans continue the three-game homestand with Colorado State this Saturday night.
Spartan Fact #1: Josh Love threw for career bests of 451 yards and three touchdowns. His 451 yards are the seventh-most yards thrown by an FBS quarterback this season.
Spartan Fact #2: The five overtimes are the most played in school history. SJSU is 3-7 in overtime games.
Spartan Fact #3: Boogie Roberts became the first SJSU defensive player to carry the football on a rushing attempt since the 2008 season when defensive back Coye Francies was credited with a 5-yard loss in the second quarter against Nevada.

Volleyball (6-7, 1-3 Mountain West)
Last Week: San José State split a pair of home Mountain West matches, defeating Boise State 3-0 last Saturday but fell to Utah State 3-2 last Thursday.
This Week: The Spartans go on the road for matches at UNLV and New Mexico.
Spartan Fact #1: Luiza Andrade recorded a career-best six service aces in the win over Boise State. She had six of the team's season-best 12 aces in the match.
Spartan Fact #2: Latahevai Lousi returned to the floor against Utah State after missing the previous seven matches. She had a career-best 22 kills in the match and hit .436 (22-5-39). For the week, Lousi hit .339 and recorded a block in each of the eight sets played.

Women's Soccer (3-4-2, 2-0-0 Mountain West)
Last week: The Spartans split a pair of home MW matches - defeating New Mexico 1-0 on Sunday, but falling 1-0 to San Diego State on Friday.
This Week: SJSU goes on the road this week for matches at Nevada on Friday and at UNLV on Sunday.
Spartan Fact: Senior Darriell Franklin scored the game-winning goal in the 47th minute of the 1-0 victory over New Mexico.

Men's Soccer (3-5-2, 1-1-1 Western Athletic)
Last week: The Spartans went 0-1-1 with a 2-2 tie at Houston Baptist last Friday and a 1-0 loss at UMKC on Sunday.
This Week: San José State returns home for two WAC matches against Grand Canyon and UNLV.
Spartan Fact: Defender Andy Rios scored on a penalty kick in the 77th minute against Houston Baptist to tie the match at 2-2.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
Last Week (Women): The Spartans finished sixth out of 19 teams at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday.
Last Week (Men): SJSU finished fifth out of 18 teams at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday.
This Week: The Spartans have the week off before traveling to Wisconsin next week.
Spartan Fact (Women): Jennifer Sandoval extended her streak to 14 meets of being the first Spartan to cross the finish line. She finished the Stanford Invitational in 15th place.
Spartan Fact (Men): Jose Piña finished 10th with a time of 24:21.4 and was his highest placing in three races at Stanford.

Women's Golf
Last Week: San José State finished second at the Coeur d'Alene Invitational, five shots behind Illinois. Abegail Arevalo birdied three of her final five holes to win the individual title by one shot at two-under 211.
This Week: The Spartans are off this week in preparation for their tournament next Monday and Tuesday at the Illini Women's Invitational hosted by the Medinah Country Club.
Spartan Fact: Abegail Arevalo won her second collegiate tournament exactly six months to the day of winning her first tournament (March 25 - MountainView Collegiate, September 25 - Coeur d'Alene Invitational).

This Week: The Spartans are off this week and begin preparations for the Alister Mackenzie Invitational next Monday and Tuesday at Meadow Club in Fairfax.
Spartan Fact: Sean Yu was the top Spartan for the second consecutive tournament. He finished seventh at 218 after shooting an even-par 71 in the final round.

Spartan Fact: San José State goalkeeper Yahav Fire was credited with seven saves against Stanford.
