Football (0-5, 0-2 Mountain West)
Last Week: San José State lost to Colorado State, 42-30.
This Week: The Spartans play Army West Point this Saturday at Levi's Stadium.
Spartan Fact #1: San Jose State is one of at least two teams to score 30 points in a quarter this season with its 30-point third quarter in its recent 42-30 loss to Colorado State. On September 8, North Texas scored 31 points in the second quarter of a 58-16 win over Incarnate Word. The last time a San Jose State scored 30 or more points in a quarter was a 35-point second quarter in a 69-41 win at UTEP on November 3, 2003.
Spartan Fact #2: For the first time since playing in the 2012 Military Bowl, San Jose State was credited with a two-point safety when defensive lineman Boogie Roberts tackled Colorado State running back Izzy Matthews in the Rams' end zone on a first-down rushing attempt that started at the 2-yard line.
Spartan Fact #3: Levi's Stadium will be the ninth former Super Bowl site in which San Jose State will play a football game - Levi's Stadium, Qualcomm Stadium, Rose Bowl,
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Sun Devil Stadium, Stanford Stadium, Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, Rice Stadium, Orange Bowl.

Last Week: San José State lost two road MW matches last week at UNLV (3-1) and at New Mexico (3-0).
This Week: The Spartans host Nevada Tuesday night before playing at Air Force on Thursday.
Spartan Fact: Luiza Andrade is ranked eighth in the nation in service aces per set at 0.55 ps, and is 28th in service aces with 29. Andrade also moved into third place all-time at San José State in digs with 1,386.

Last week: The Spartans swept a pair of road matches last week, winning at Nevada 2-1 Friday night and at UNLV 1-0 on Sunday.
This Week: SJSU hosts two MW matches this week - Colorado State on Friday at 6:30 p.m., and Wyoming on Sunday at noon.
Spartan Fact #1: Freshman Haleigh Wynne is the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goals against Nevada and UNLV.
Spartan Fact #2: The Spartans are 5-1-0 in MW play, just behind Boise State for first place who is 5-0-1.

The Spartans swept a pair of WAC match last week, winning 1-0 over Grand Canyon on Friday and 2-1 over UNLV on Sunday.
This Week: San José State hosts Cal Baptist on Sunday, the 14th, at 2:30 p.m.
Spartan Fact: Three different Spartans scored last week in the two wins - Zach Penner verus GCU and Eduardo Buenfil and Suliman Khorami against UNLV.

Spartan Fact: San José State finished the first round on Monday by shooting an even-par 288. Abegail Arevalo was five-under after the first round and tied for second place.

Men's Water Polo (4-7, 0-1)
Last Week: The Spartans opened Gold Coast Conference play with a 14-6 loss at UC Santa Barbara last Friday. The team also played at UCLA (L, 11-8) and at USC (L, 16-5) over the weekend.
This Week: The team up the road to Palo Alto this weekend for the MPSF Invitational hosted Stanford.
Spartan Fact: Marc Weber scored four goals for the Spartans against UCLA, and Yahav Fire made seven saves in three quarters against USC.

Spartan Fact: The 400 free relay finished fourth on Saturday with a time of 3:30.80 (Gabby Heng, Antoinette Loya, Taylor Lehr, Katie McIntee).
