This week's Spartan Spotlight guest is San Jose State University Football Defensive Coordinator Derrick Odum.
Last year, the Spartans had one of the best defenses in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) in terms of taking away the ball. San Jose State ranked ninth in passes intercepted and turnover margin and 20th in turnovers gained (fumbles recovered and pass interceptions).
