McAdoo Honored as First Team Preseason All-American by NCBWA

2023 NCBWA Preseason All-American Teams

SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State baseball second baseman Charles McAdoo has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Preseason All-American First Team. For McAdoo, this is his second time earning a spot on a preseason All-American first team for the 2023 season as he was previously named to the Collegiate Baseball Preseason All-American First Team on December 19, 2022.

In 2022, McAdoo set a single-season school record by reaching base safely in 44 consecutive games. He helped lead the Spartans to a 30-win season for the first time since 2011 and a spot in the Mountain West Championship game for the first time in program history.
