LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Goalkeeper Elaina Davey recorded seven saves and one steal to lead the No. 20 San Jose State women's water polo team (12-14) Saturday in their 14-3 loss to No. 2 USC (21-1).
- Sinia Plotz, Clarissa Wandinger, and Lauren Woolley each scored one goal.
- Lior Ben David won the sprint in the fourth quarter to give the Spartans starting possession.
- Kylee Jansen and Woolley each contributed a field block to prevent USC from scoring.
- Wandinger tallied four drawn exclusions to give SJSU multiple power play opportunities.
