CLE ELUM, Wash.—Kajsa Arwefjäll, Lucia Lopez Ortega and Louisa Carlbom all shot a 2-over 74 at the NCAA Cle Elum Regional as the San José State women’s golf team sits in seventh place at 10-over 298 after the first round.
- Arwefjäll made 14 pars and one birdie during her round.
- Lopez Ortega had two birdies and 12 pars on the day and was 1-under for seven of her final 10 holes before finishing with three consecutive bogeys.
- Carlbom made par on her first seven holes of the day before going bogey-par to finish her first nine holes (10-18).
- Rebecca Gyllner is tied for 38th at 4-over 76. She made one birdie and 12 pars.
- Moa Andersson is tied for 57th at 7-over 79. After making a bogey on her first hole (10), she made two birdies and six pars to finish her first nine holes at 1-under par.
- The Spartans sit in seventh place, six shots out of fifth place. The top-five teams will advance to the NCAA Championships.
