KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii—Kleopatra Kozakiewicz shot a 2-under 71 to jump into the top-20 at the Nanea Invitational as the San José State women’s golf team remained in eighth place after two rounds at the par-72 Nanea Golf Club.
- Kozakiewicz is tied for 20th at 2-under 144 through two rounds. She made five birdies in the round and finished the day by making four pars and two birdies.
- Regina Roldan is tied for 29th at 1-over 147 after shooting a 2-over 75 in the second round, making 16 pars and two bogeys on the day.
- Moa Andersson and Ting-Yu Chang are tied for 37th at 2-over 148. Andersson shot a 1-over 74 with five birdies made, while Chang shot a 3-over 75 with 12 pars made.
- Lotte Schuhr is tied for 41st at 3-over 149, shooting a 1-over 74 for the round, making three birdies.
- The Spartans remained in eighth place after shooting a 1-over 293. The Spartans are just three shots behind seventh-place Colorado and four shots behind California and UCLA
UP NEXT – Final round shotgun is at 10:30 a.m. PT/7:30 a.m. HT on Wednesday. The Spartans will play with UCLA, California and Colorado.
