UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash.—Moa Andersson currently sits tied for 10th to lead the San José State women’s golf team after two rounds of the Leadership and Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Club. The Spartans end the day in seventh place at 10-over 586.

  • Andersson is tied for 10th at 1-under 143 after the two rounds. She started the day with a two-over 74 in the first round, making five birdies during her round.
  • Andersson followed that up with a clean card in the second round, making three birdies and 15 pars, to move up 27 places in the individual standings. She is tied for first par-5 scoring at 4-under par and par-3 scoring at 2-under par.
  • Regina Roldan also finished the day in the top 20, as she is tied for 18th at 2-over 146. She shot an even-par 72 to start her day, making two birdies and 14 pars. She made seven consecutive pars at one point of the round. She shot a 2-over 74 in the second round, making four birdies.
  • Kleopatra Kozakiewicz made an eagle on the par-5, hole 1, during her second round, as she finished the day tied for 29th at 4-over 148. She shot 73-75 over the two rounds.
  • Lotte Schuhr is tied for 53rd at 7-over 151, shooting 73-78 on her day.
  • Chelsie Chin made her Spartan debut, shooting 76 in both rounds, and finished tied for 61st at 8-over 152.
  • Playing as an individual, Ting-Yu Chang is tied for 75th at 12-over 156, shooting an 83 in round one.
  • The Spartans were seventh at the conclusion of each round, 10 shots from third place and 15 shots behind Tulsa, who leads the field at 5-under 571.
  • San Jose State is tied for third among teams in par-5 play at 4-under par and is tied for third in birdies made with 26.
